Tempest Application

*PLEASE READ THE GUILD RULES AND THE LOOT RULES FIRST before filling application.*

Raid times are normally 8:15pm - 11:00pm Server, 8:30pm first pull. Should the raid time differ from the norm, it will be announced by the Raid Lead and/or posted on the Raidplanner Calendar in our Forums.

We have our own Vent Server and it is required to have this along with a headset in order to interact in our raids. The ability to hear the Raid leaders is foremost. NOT HAVING THESE THINGS WILL HINDER YOUR BEING CONSIDERED FOR RAIDS.

We are seeking players who will be main raiders and are not interested in nor are we seeking to kit out alternate characters.

Applicant should already be working on their Level 80 gear.

To qualify you must meet the following criteria:

• Available throughout the week for Scheduled Raids you sign up for.
• Ability to stay for the duration of each raid.
• Real Life will always come first, so be sure you do have the time slot to raid before signing up for a raid.
• Showing up to raid on time, repaired, and prepared with any elixirs, pots, bandages, buff foods etc.
• Knowledge of all aspects of the your character's class.
• Ambition to research and improve abilities.
• Flexibility to bring whichever spec the raid needs for the night as determined by raid leader.
• Patience to show courtesy to other raid members and raid leaders. During a raid, the Raid leaders are not to be interrupted when giving assignments. The Raid Leader will ask if there are any questions after explaining the current boss fight.
• Knowledge of upcoming boss fights. You are expected to know the Strategy and how it affects your character before the raid begins. A Strategy Thread is provided in our Forums. There are also Boss Guides on the right sidebar of our Tempest Portal.
• Thoughtfulness to help others outside of raids when time permits.
• Respect to read the application form before filling it out.
• Communication is key. We expect you to read the forums on a regular basis for new information that will be posted.

The following classes should be expected to play the listed roles and should be building gear to support it:
• Death Knight (Tanking, melee DPS)
• Druid (Healing, ranged DPS)
• Hunter (ranged DPS: Aimed Shot or Hunting Party if required)
• Paladin (Healing, DPS: Kings, JotW, Sanctuary, Beacon if required)
• Priest (Healing: Grace or Circle if required)
• Rogue (melee DPS: Master Poisoner or Savage Combat if required)
• Shaman (Healing, DPS)
• Mage (ranged DPS: Improved Water Elemental if required)
• Warlock (ranged DPS)
• Warrior (Tanking, melee DPS)

In the event your application is accepted and you become a member of Tempest, your rank will stay at "Entry" until you have participated in a Guild Raid and a Wow Web Stat parse is posted for review by the Evaluation Team.

Tempest provides its own Vent server. It is required along with a working Headset in order to interact in our raids. NOT HAVING BOTH OF THESE THINGS MAY HINDER YOUR BEING CONSIDERED FOR RAIDS. The Vent info is located in the Guild Information tab in game. You will be able to retrieve this information once you are accepted as a member of Tempest.
